P.T.S MS1000 digital linear heat detector
Heat-sensitive cable that detects fire at any point along its length — for cable trays, conveyors, tanks, tunnels and hazardous areas. Works with any fire alarm panel, and is supplied, installed and commissioned by our engineers in Qatar.
MS1000 digital linear heat cable
Two steel conductors in heat-sensitive polymer. At the rated temperature the polymer melts, the conductors short and the adapter unit sends a fire signal to the panel — at any point along the cable.
Approvals shown are for the 68–138 °C ratings. 180 °C cables carry CE and EAC (plus FM on the conventional type). The 230 °C CR/OD cable has no listed approval.
Alarm temperature ratings
Pick the rating above the highest normal temperature in the area. The cable must not sit above its maximum ambient temperature.

Adapter and termination units
Each zone needs one adapter unit at the panel end and one termination unit at the far end of the cable.
