1.1 Room Integrity test

The steps and process done by tester to make sure the clean agent after discharge will be “holding” “retention time” in the protected enclosure “for minimum 10 minutes” with same level of “design concentration” and “the peak pressure” will be never exceeding up to pressure predefined by tester.

1.2 Peak pressure

The pressure will be induced by clean agent after discharge it might be positive or negative pressure.

1.3 Descending interface test

The test done when the tester makes sure the protected enclosure does not have any kind of Air circulation.

* to compromise this kind of test, need to decrease the height of protected object *

The steps and process done by tester to make sure the clean agent after discharge will be “holding” “retention time” in the protected enclosure “for minimum 10 minutes” with same level of “design concentration” and “the peak pressure” will be never exceeding up to pressure predefined by tester.

1.4 Continuous mixing

The test done when the tester makes sure the protected enclosure has Air circulation even it was small. * to compromise this kind of test, need to increase initial concentration (agent quantity) *

1.5 Clean agent

The agent shall be electrically non-conducting and leave no residue upon evaporation

1.6 Agent concentration

The value in percentage of agent that will be occupied inside protected enclosure without effected on human healthy.

1.7 Bias pressure

Static pressure inside protected enclosure due to due to HVAC system, elevator connections, etc. it shall be not exceeding 4 pa.

Agent addressed and characteristic

2.1 NOVEC 1230 "FK-5-1-12"

2.1.1 Height negative pressure (challenge in peak pressure especially in big volume most case need to fix relief vent*)

2.1.2 High concentration design margin (3.5 up to 9)

2.1.3 Environment friendly (ODP, GWP)

2.1.4 Fluid pressurized by nitrogen max.pressure in market 500 PSI

2.1.5 Heavy than air*

2.2 FM200 "HFC-227ea ,HFC-125 , HFC-23 OR HFC-236 fa"

2.2.1 Have Negative pressure but not like NOVEC

2.2.2 Heavy than air*

2.2.3 Concentration design margin (7 up to 9)

2.1.4 Gas, pressurized by nitrogen max.pressure in market 360 PSI (common pressure)

2.3 IG "IG-01 ARGON ,IG-100 NITROGEN ,IG541 Nitrogen (52%)Argon (40%)Carbon dioxide (8%),IG55 NITROGEN 50% Argon 50%"

3- integrity test procedure

3.1 Enter enclosure data (volume, maximum height, maximum protected height)
3.2 Chose agent use and test type (Descending interface, Continuous mixing or Extended discharge*)
3.3 measure bias pressure
3.4 If we used NFPA standard we shall pressurized and de-pressurized in tow point ( 10 and 50 pa ) and (-10 and -50 pa) if used ISO standard we shall pressurized and de-pressurized in five point ( 10 , 20 ,30 40 and 60 pa ) and (-10 ,-20.-30,-40 and -60 pa
3.5 press calculate to check the holding time and peak pressure result.

In Fire Cloud we offer room integrity test for all kind of agent .
